Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 13, 2026

Magic Clipper turns web pages you choose into structured Notion entries. This policy explains the information we handle when you use the website, browser extension, and related services.

Information we handle

  • Account and Notion connection: your Notion user ID, name, email, avatar, workspace details, the pages and databases shared with the integration, and encrypted access credentials.
  • Capture data: the URL, title, and page snapshot you submit; extracted text and metadata; destination details; draft content and property suggestions; and the ID and URL of the Notion entry you create. Raw page HTML is processed to prepare the draft but is not stored as the raw snapshot.
  • Usage and billing: plan, capture counts, subscription status, billing period, and Polar customer and subscription identifiers. Polar handles payment details; Magic Clipper does not store your full card number.
  • Technical data: essential session cookies and related security information, which may include IP address and browser information. The extension also keeps draft state, destination choices, and preferences in your browser's local storage.

How we use information

We use this information only to provide and improve Magic Clipper: to sign you in, connect the Notion content you authorize, prepare Capture Drafts, suggest properties, create entries after you confirm, apply plan limits, process subscriptions, keep the service secure, and understand anonymous product usage. We do not sell your information to third parties or use it for unrelated advertising.

Services we work with

  • Notion provides sign-in and lets Magic Clipper read the pages and databases you share and create entries you confirm. Notion handles information under Notion's policies.
  • Vercel Analytics provides anonymous, aggregated web analytics such as page views, referrers, coarse location, and device or browser type. It does not use third-party cookies or tie analytics to an individual. See Vercel Analytics privacy information.
  • Vercel AI Gateway and an AI model provider process limited source evidence to generate optional property suggestions. These requests are configured to require zero-data-retention routing. See the Vercel AI Gateway documentation.
  • Polar is our merchant of record and payment processor. It handles checkout, payments, taxes, and billing management under Polar's Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information to infrastructure providers that help us run the service, or when required by law, to prevent abuse, or to protect people and the service. These disclosures are limited to those purposes.

Storage, security, and your choices

We keep account, connection, capture, and subscription records while needed to provide the service and for legitimate security or legal needs. We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption for Notion access credentials, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

You can revoke Magic Clipper's access at any time from Notion. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete information we control. When an account is deleted, we remove its local account, connection, destination, capture, and subscription records, subject to limited backups or records that must be kept by law. Notion and Polar control deletion of records they hold under their own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Magic Clipper changes. We will post the new version here and change the “Last Updated” date.
